Logline

Four lifelong friends expecting a luxurious getaway in Cape Town are thrust into a high-stakes international heist when they discover their host is secretly an FBI agent tracking a stolen masterpiece.

Synopsis

Boyz Trip follows Thabo, Chris, Jordan, and Nigel as they travel to Cape Town, South Africa, to escape their daily grinds for an unforgettable vacation. The lavish trip, complete with penthouse suites and private underground club access, quickly unravels when Thabo is revealed to be an undercover FBI agent. He has used the boys' trip as a cover to recover a priceless Peter Clark painting from MJ Park, a dangerous tech-wiz warlord. Oblivious to the true nature of their trip, the friends soon find themselves caught in the crossfire of a deadly art smuggling ring. What started as a trip to reconnect turns into a chaotic fight for survival featuring high-speed motorsport chases, dangerous riddles, and a massive junkyard shootout. Through the mayhem, the crew must rely on their unbreakable brotherhood and a little guerrilla filmmaking to outsmart heavily armed goons, secure a massive payout, and make it back home alive.

Series Overview

Next in Line is a grounded comedy series that follows Marlo, a talented Latino actor determined to make it in the entertainment industry. Despite his dedication and passion, he repeatedly finds himself coming up just short as another actor continually beats him to the roles he wants most. Through awkward auditions, industry politics, personal setbacks, and unexpected friendships, Marlo learns that success often comes from embracing who you are rather than trying to become someone else. Blending humor with authentic moments, the series offers a relatable look at the highs and lows of pursuing a dream in Hollywood.
